Focused on celebrating women, TAMA conducted Mahila Sambaralu in grand fashion in Atlanta. Spread over two days on consecutive weekends, the programs were designed in a unique and innovative way where all the participants had an opportunity to have fun and enjoy the celebrations. For the first time the program was designed, planned and executed by the spouses of the Board and Executive committee in coordination with TAMA.

Day one kicked off with fun games like KhoKho, Tenninkoit, Badminton, Musical Chairs as well as tokkudu billa , oohalu gusa gusa lade, Atlanta Annapurna, vundamma botttu pedatha , pada vipanchi, chitram bhalare vichitram, atlanta nota telugu maata and online contests like Maa voori maharani and Moodu tarala muddugummalu. It was an all-day event where each and every participant leaving happy to have spent a memorable day having fun and enjoyment.

Day two on the next weekend started with media secretary Priya Balusu and board member Krishna Bojja inviting Mahila Sambaralu organizing committee Sujatha Jampala, Rama Pawar, Haripriya Sarvepalli, Srivalli Maddi, Shilpa Maddineni , Shailaja Meesala, Naveena Gadde, Sreelakshmi Adusumilli, Priya Tatikonda on to the stage. The emcee for the evening, multi-talented Singer Madhoo kicked off the event with inviting doctors who volunteer at TAMA clinic, Manabadi Teachers, spouses of sponsors onto the stage to light the lamp and start the program.

The program included more fun activities like Medadu ki Metha, Makkiki Makki, Padam Naadi Paata Meedi, Cheppukondi Chooddam, game show called Gadasari Atta Sogasari Kodalu enthralled the audience by involving each and every one and most of them winning gifts. Another program that the audience loved was “Surprise your spouse” where the husbands sent a one minute video about their wife. This had everyone enjoying listening to different ways men express their feeling towards their spouse. One more informative program “Different Walks of Life” presented interviews with women in different careers talking about them and giving advice on their experiences also held the audience attention.

The program concluded with the dance floor opening up and with the audience grooving to the beautiful songs sung by Singer Madhoo and Sarada.

Winning prizes in the raffle included saree sponsored by Mythily Jasthi of Shree Collections, Archana Reddy of Krishna Training and also six month subscriptions for Yupp TV. Winner of Gadasari Atta Sogasari Kodalu contest received a saree sponsored by Vijaya Collections.

And to the tremendous support from the team of the EC and board led by Ram Maddi and Volunteers Satya Bommisetty, Prasanth Veerabomma, Deepak in the parking area where the women were treated with “valet service” and each and every participant was very appreciative of the kind of effort that TAMA put in.
