"sIsa

is
really
superb.
SrI
vENu
daSigi's
effort
in
translating
vEmana

to
English
is
commendable.
It
is
very
difficult
to
get
to
the
heart
of
the
poem's
meaning
(especially
in
vEmana
padyAM,
which
speaks
universal
truth
in
a
short
poem),
in
only
few
lines.
But
SrI
vEnu's
translation
is
very
good
and
caught
the
pulse
of
the
original
poem.
SrI
OlETi
rAvu's
short
story
"dalInder"
is
hilarious.
