తామా సాహితీ కార్యక్రమాలు

చక్కటి తెలుగు సాహిత్యాన్ని నలుగురితోటి పంసుకోవడమే ముఖ్యోద్దేషంగా సుమారు 1995 లో, ప్రపధంగా “మన ఊరిలో మొట్ట మొదటి సాహితీ సదస్సు నిర్వహించాము. అప్పటినుంచి ఈ కారిక్రమం దిగ్విజయంగా కొనసాగుతోంది. 1998 లో మొట్టమొదటి అమెరికా సాహితీ సదస్సు కూడా అట్లాంటా లోనే జరిగింది. అటు తరువాతా మనని చూసి అనేక ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలవారు కూడా ఇటువంటి కార్యక్రమాన్ని వారి వారి ఊళ్ళలో మొదలుపెట్టారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ సాహితీ సదస్సు అమెరికాలో చాలా రాష్ట్రాలలో విజయవంతంగా కొనసాగడం తెలుగువారంతా గారవించదగ్గ విషయం.

ఏడాదికి ఇంచుమించు ఐదు, ఆరు సాహితీ సదస్సులు నిర్వహిస్తాము. వర్దమాన రచయితలు, రచయిత్రులూ, లభ్దప్రతిష్టులూ, అందరూ ఈ సదస్సులలో ఎంతో ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొని తమ రచనలూ, అభిప్రాయాలు ఇతరులతో పంచుకుంటారు. సాధారణంగా, వారాంతాలలో సుమారు రెండు మూడు గంటలపాటు ఈ కారిక్రమం జరుగుతుంది. అవకాశం దొరికినప్పుడల్లా మన దేశం నుంచి వచ్చిన రచయితలనీ, కవులనీ, ఈ సభలకి ఆహ్వానించి, తగురీతిన గౌరవిస్తాము.

ప్రతి ఏటా ఈ కారిక్రమాలలో పాల్గొనే ఔత్సాహికుల సంఖ్య పెరుగుతోంది. ఇది ఒక శుభ పరిణామము. మన భాషని కాపాడుకునే ఈ చిన్ని ప్రయత్నంలో మీరంతా మాతో కలసి వస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాం. మీకు మా సాహితీ సదస్సు వివరాలూ కావాలంటే literary@tama.org కు ఒక్క ఈ మెయిలు పంపండి. మీరంతా మన సాహితీ సదస్సులకి తప్పకుండా రండి. ఆర్థికంగానూ,హర్థికంగాను మీ ప్రోత్సాహన్ని అందించండి.

Telugu heritage and literature are given extreme importance by TAMA. Several activities are organized to relive our great culture and traditions.

Sahithi Sadassu (Literary Meet)
Poetry (Kavithalu) and Literature Work is presented by writers and lovers of literature who meet at least once in a quarter. Everybody is welcome present their work or simple to join in and enjoy it. It is a great source of keeping your hobby alive or to get inspired and write a piece of poem or a short story. Send an email to literary coordinator to know more about this activity.

TAMA quarterly magazine
TAMA publishes a magazine to encourage the community members to keep in touch Telugu Language and literature in general. Short stories, poems, jokes, drawings, facts, etc are published catering to all age groups and interests. Efforts are being made to encourage youth to reader this regularly and contribute to it. Facilities are available to translate from English (if necessary) and compose in Telugu. Send you work of literature to the Coordinator. If you are sending drawings, please note that they should be in black and white drawn with thin marker or dark pencil. If you are sending images with your article or poem, send the original and not a photocopy.
